A real winner! Our family of ten had a perfect vacation. The house is outstanding with its location, its layout and its furnishings. Fabulous in every way! This was our second family trip to the incredible Tulemar resort. This time we brought another family and upgraded to the Garden House. The house is amazing and the location perfect. The layout of the house is perfect for two families and the pool was in constant use and great to have after a day of excursions. Daily pool and house cleaning was a great feature that kept the house pristine and allowed us to simply enjoy our vacation. The house has endless outdoor space, beautiful nooks and crannies to sit and enjoy the incredible views and its location allows for walking anywhere on property, including the beach - although there are shuttles on demand. Asher and her team were very attentive and hands on to make sure everything was perfect…..and it was. We considered going to the local preserve for a sloth tour, where you might catch a glimpse of these beautiful creatures. One day, while we were all I the pool, one came to us. Sat in a tree above the pool for hours, within reach. Really a highlight of the week. Add the daily visits from the local Tucans which sat on our bedroom balcony railings each morning and the endless stream of monkeys on the patio border and surrounding bushes and we had our own nature preserve onsite. Exceeded all expectations and we will be back. You will not be disappointed at the Garden House. A+.

Our Family Vacation At Garden House Our family of 11 ( ages 6 mo to 74 yrs) enjoyed a wonderful week at Garden House and the amazing pool allowed us to cool off even in the unseasonable heat. Chef Tito treated us to great breakfasts and dinners and Myra looked after the housekeeping with smiles. A family trip we hope to be able to do again!

Great Vacation Our family had the most incredible visit to Costa Rica in January. The Garden House was perfect for the 6 of us. The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Everyone had plenty of space. The views from the house are incredible. The sunsets are stunning. Wildlife visited every day; bird watching is perfect on the back and top decks. Asher arranged all excursions, transportation and made sure the house was stocked with groceries upon our arrival. She was very helpful while planning the trip and offered a lot of local suggestions. She is very knowledgeable of the area. She was available during our visit whenever we needed assistance. Asher arranged Jay as our chief. Jay was easy to work with and communicated with us well. He prepared incredible food, desserts, and juices. He did all the grocery shopping and clean-up. Every day he would make a different juice, which my granddaughters loved, he introduced us to local cuisine. Jay made a cake for my 5-year-old granddaughter and decorated it to compliment her personality. He made her feel very special. We were hesitate to hire a chief for the entire week, but the decision to hire him was one of the best we made for our vacation. It was nice to sit by the beautiful pool and relax while the meal was being prepared. The food was aways very good. Mayra did a very good job keeping the house clean and organized. It was nice to have clean laundry at the end of the vacation. The house is very close to the beach and the resort is beautiful. The people in Tulemar are helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend Asher as your concierge, she is GREAT! You will not regret choosing the Garden House for your vacation. Everything about the Garden House was amazing.

Wonderful stay The Garden House at Tulemar was perfect for a multi-generational family trip. We loved coming home to a clean home for a swim in the infinity pool at sunset while dinner was being made by the chef. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We saw more birds, sloths and monkeys on our deck than we did at the national park!! Asher set up excursions for us, all of which were wonderful. The resort was beautiful and well kept. The chef she recommended even made a (delicious) personalized birthday cake for my daughter and husband with a days’ notice. I would highly recommend staying here and using Asher as your concierge.

The Most Amazing Family Vacation! My family of 3 generations just spent a week at the Garden House in Tulemar. It was everything we were hoping for and more. The house manager Asher was very easy to work with and she helped us plan all of our excursions and transportation back and forth to the airport. All the excursions were professionally run and were all fantastic! We hired a chef to cook breakfasts and dinners everyday. His name was Tito and he was also our concierge while at the house. Tito was amazing and allowed all of us to be on vacation. Thank you Tito!! We didn't have to worry about anything with Tito in charge. If we ever needed anything we just let him know and it was at the house a few hours later. He is also an incredible chef and so easy to work with!! On a fishing excursion we brought back 3 Mahi Mahi and so we had Mahi Mahi for appetizers and dinner 3 different nights. Such a treat!! The house could not have been more perfect. So many different spaces inside and mostly outside to congregate. Mayra was the house keeper and she kept the house clean and did our laundry. Another treat! The pool was amazing!! The beach at Tulemar was also great!! The shuttle back and forth was easy if you didn't want to walk. Service at the beach was also very good. We ate lunch there many days! Since the house is set in the lush rainforest we also got to see so so many animals from the house. We saw iguanas, spider monkeys, white face monkeys, howler monkeys (mostly heard them), sloths, toucans and macaws. Just amazing!! I would highly recommend The Garden House at Tulemar if you are looking for a true vacation for everyone in your group

Best family trip ever! The animals around the house were a true highlight. Our trip to Garden House was one for the books. Asher took care of every detail from the time we stepped off of the plane until the time we stepped back on. The house is absolutely beautiful! The size was perfect for our family of 10. There are multiple places to gather outside in the sun or under the cover of the patio in the rain. The view of the ocean over the pool is absolutely stunning. The wildlife from the house was extraordinary. We had daily visits from sloths, iguanas, toucans, macaws, squirrel monkeys, white faced monkeys, and the howler monkeys. The short walk to the beach was lovely and the shuttle ride back was easy and convenient. Tito served as in house concierge, and we also utilized him as chef for the week. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and his cooking was delicious. He made food that both the kids and adults enjoyed. His service fee was very reasonable. His cooking was far superior to the restaurants that we visited. Mayra is the super sweet maid that was very helpful with laundry and organization. Asher, Tito, and Mayra made our trip a true vacation. Our only regret about the trip is that we wish we had booked two weeks instead of one. We will be returning! Pura Vida!

Amazing stay at Garden House - where the jungle meets the ocean! Our group of 9 had a wonderful stay at the Garden House by the Beach, located within Tulemar. This rental home was pure luxury - from the infinity pool to the large gathering spaces, and the amazing balcony off the primary suite. We were all blown away by the house itself, the views, and the wonderful housekeeper Mayra. Asher was also amazing - she arranged our transport to and from the airport, excursions, and helped with anything that was needed during our stay. Chef Tito made a delicious meal for us one night as well. The location of this property is fantastic - Tulemar has so much to offer in terms of wildlife sightings (monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws), pools, a great beach, and Tule Cafe (delicious food and beautiful views). After this incredible trip, we are eager to return soon!!

Absolutely Perfect This was our 4th visit to Tulemar and this one was really special. The house fit our party of 8 perfectly. I love this house because it feels comfortable and welcoming. It has everything you need. The pool is spectacular as well as all of the outdoor entertaining areas. Sunset views, lots of wildlife sightings, and the perfect house for entertaining. The service and staff for the house were awesome. We love Tulemar but we especially loved the Garden House! We will be coming back for sure!

Was perhaps our most enjoyable vacation ever! To make this review easy to digest, I will provide just a few of the major highlights in bullet form: - outstanding customer service from the time we booked (6 months ago) to our departure on 9/10/22 - private chef and his assistant provided 12 breakfast and dinner meals at the house over the 6 days; did all of the grocery shopping, etc.; this was highly cost effective versus meals out - daily housekeeping - fresh bedding, all laundry handled, etc. - weather was great despite concerns going in about extensive rain; it was sunny every day until mid to late afternoon - the Tulemar beach is nothing short of spectacular and the waves where twice as big (and fun) as we expected going in; boogie boards and kayaks are provided and F&B service is provided with each order being handled beautifully by the staff - our 4 grandchildren spent literally 3 to 5 hours in the surf every day; water temp at around 80 degrees to match the air temperature - daily observations of howler monkeys and sloths close to the house or in the trees at the beach - great excursions for surfing lessons, a waterfall tour and a zip line tour Loved it and hope to return next year.
